Delicious healthy food prepared in the kitchens of the Healthy Gourmet Cafe at Lambeth College's Brixton Centre.
The Healthy Gourmet Café is where you will find students from the Skills for Work (Healthy Gourmet Café) – BTEC Entry Level 1 - 3 Qualification preparing and serving over 150 meals daily to staff and students at the Brixton Centre.
Students with a variety of learning difficulties are taught the art of cooking by our passionate teaching and support staff, who learn all about food preparation and food hygiene as well as customer service and numeracy skills.
This innovative course has been given a Beacon Award for providing students with moderate learning difficulties the opportunity to progress into paid work.
