The Cushman and Wakefield Programme

Cushman & Wakefield, the world's largest privately-owned commercial real estate services firm, runs a partnership with Lambeth College and the University of Westminster, offering our students a truly outstanding opportunity to join their Trainee Surveyor Programme. This partnership has now been running for three years and they have recruited nine students so far.

Cushman & Wakefield sponsors students during their last year at Lambeth College, they pay the student’s university fees when they move on, offer them a business mentor and paid work experience whilst they are at University, driving lessons and many other incentives. Former Lambeth College student and Trainee Surveyor, Faith Alori has this to say about the programme: "The Cushman & Wakefield programme has opened such a fantastic opportunity for me that is life changing. Initially I had no real idea of what career path I was heading for but since joining the programme I have been able to explore a variety of prospective career paths within the property sector"

The resounding success of the trainee surveyor programme was acknowledged last year with a special commendation at the London Education Partnership Awards Ceremony.

Getting on to the Cushman & Wakefield Programme:

Following promotion of the programme and a visit to Westminster University, students go through a rigorous selection process. They attend workshops, write a 500 word essay and submit a covering letter and CV. If successful at this stage, they then undertake psychometric tests and if they achieve good scores are invited to an interview at Cushman & Wakefield where they will be expected to deliver a presentation and demonstrate their knowledge and passion for the programme.
